Midway CDJR Achieves Certified Agricultural Status
Kearney, NE – When Ram trucks celebrated America’s farm and ranch families with a two minute commercial during Super Bowl XLVII, they created a relationship with those families like no other truck ever had.
Today, Ram dealers are proud to announce the local fulfillment of that global unspecified.png promise. Having completed an agriculture awareness curriculum endorsed by the National Agriculture In The Classroom Organization, Ram Trucks welcomes Midway Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to the ranks of Certified Agriculture Dealership. A first of its kind in the truck industry, this certification lets the area’s more than 2500 farm & ranch families know the dealership understands what makes their business different. It also signals the dealership’s commitment to the timing of wheat and oat harvest, calving season and third cutting hay by adjusting operations to accommodate the demands of each commodity, and every season.
To become a Ram Certified Agriculture Dealership, Midway Ram was required to commit a minimum of three team members to successfully completing the curriculum prepared by it’s agriculture partners. The program recommended one each from Sales, Parts and Service. The Ram Certified Agriculture Specialists at Midway are: Casey Wright, Jake Barrett, Jeff Engelhaupt, Josh Rohde, Kurt Johnson, Larry Lieb, Michelle Bryson and Zac Zaczkowski.
With the initial curriculum complete, the Midway Ram Ag Team will now participate in continuing education that extends their knowledge of everything important to Nebraska agriculture, as it happens in real time. Ongoing education, combined with what Specialists learned through the Ag Awareness curriculum, will allow this dealership to become an educated partner with area agriculture by pro-actively anticipating and meeting the changing demands of its family farm and ranch customers.
As part of being Certified Agriculture, The Ram Truck brand has also provided their Kearney, NE dealer with some hard core tools designed specifically to help farmers and rancher gain efficiency and find more profits in their farming operation. It’s called Ram AgPack. In short … if the customer uses Ram’s $500 Farmers in America bonus cash, that farm and ranch customer is then qualified for up to an additional $5300 in AG-SPECIFIC products that won’t cost them anything extra.
Field & pasture forecasting services. Crop nutrition products, Ag drone technology. An agriculture “care package” bundled with the most durable truck money can buy and specialists trained specifically to know the needs of our agriculture customer. Midway Ram is the whole farm & ranch package.
Ram Ag Specialist, Casey Wright sums it up best: “Appreciation for agriculture’s needs has set deep roots with this dealership, and the Ram brand. We stand ready to offer the industry something no other truck dealer can…a partnership that understands, and delivers to those needs at every level.”
