On Wednesday, October 16, at about 5:50 p.m., as we were driving through Kearney, we noticed that we had a headlamp out. We stopped in Midway to purchase a new bulb, but when informed of what it took to do it, decided to have them replace the bulb. The Service Department closed at 6:00 but their staff stayed until they got the job done, one staff member who was supposed to be off work, stayed to replace it for us. I can't imagine how many times we would have been stopped for only having one headlight that night as we drove to Colorado. The staff of the Service Department was amazing, friendly and very helpful as the five of us piled out of the car and invaded the waiting area with our meals that we had bought to eat in the car. Amazing young men, I believe Joe and Joe were their names and there were a couple of others that we didn't get the names of. Thank you so much for getting us back on the road with both headlights and being so helpful to us. We truly appreciate it.
I just bought a used suburban from Midway and it was a great experience. I worked with one of their sales guys, Kevin Pracht, and he was very knowledgeable and patient. I test drove the vehicle, let my wife test drive, then came back later to have my old man test drive. Kevin went and got some tools for us and a shop rag so we could take a look at the engine and make sure it looked up to snuff. Everything checked out, the shop guys did a great job. It had a brand new air filter, new wheels with aluminium rims from a '17 Yukon, and all the fluids were topped off. All good signs. Kevin did a good job of working with me on getting me closer to the price I wanted, I really appreciate that. Also a big note, there was a refreshing lack of shady car sales tactics, like making people wait for no reason, or miraculously getting a call that someone else is interested in the vehicle that you're looking at while you're there. It was the most straightforward and painless sale I've ever experience. They weren't pushy about the add-ons either, like gap insurance. Bottom line is, I will definitely be returning to midway the next time I need a vehicle. Thanks, guys!
They changed engine oil and filter, serviced transmission rear differential and transfer case. Work was completed before the time promised. Exceptional service.
